Interesting. I worked as a coach driver for Greyhound Australia for nine and a half years. I enjoyed the job, but it is a tough way to earn a living. I got made redundant with a heap of others during the Covid pandemic. I was happy about that because I was 76 years old and I was going to retire at 77 anyway. My runs were Brisbane to Toowoomba and return , twice a day, Brisbane to Noosa, Brisbane to Byron Bay . Mostly I did the Brisbane to Sydney run, stay overnight in a motel at Coffs Harbour and bring the Sydney to Brisbane coach back the next day. Unfortunately Greyhound have just had a very serious accident in Queensland. Three passengers dead and two critical, many others with serious injuries. There were 33 passengers on the coach.

What you new rookie drivers fresh out of school don't realize is you are a new driver your not going to get top pay you start at the bottom just like the rest of us did the more experience you get the higher you'll get paid so suck it up the first 2 years and go somewhere else.
